Marta Kralikova
Marta Kralikova is a junior researcher at the Department of Political Science, Comenius University in Bratislava, working on thesis on the rule of law reforms in Ukraine, with wider interests in the European neighbourhood and processes of political, social and economic transformation in countries of the Central and Eastern Europe. In 2015 and 2016, she completed research stays at the Centre for EU studies, University of Ghent and at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna. Marta graduated from Masaryk University in Brno, where she finished master studies in International Relations and bachelor studies in Sociology.
Marta has been an active volunteer in several NGOs and cooperated on projects supporting development and human rights (People in Need, Pontis Foundation) and non-formal education of young people (PDCS). In 2013-2014 she attended a cycle of global education programme GLEN, and spend 3 months on internship in Georgia. She became a trainer of the programme and continues to facilitate trainings mainly for youth workers and volunteers on topics of global education, inclusion and diversity.
Currently, she coordinates the project ‘Common Country’ that promotes values of tolerance and democracy among young people and she cooperates with the civic association Mareena that supports inclusion of refugees in Slovakia.
