GaMCon Team will conduct Second Session of Working Group “Social Infrastructure.” Meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2017 in Regional Gallery of Arts of mun. Comrat starting at 11:00.

After the first session of WG Social Infrastructure, where the decision to prepare The program of support of young families was taken, the second session coming with real proposals. Participants will try to find possible ways how to support parenthood, how to promote young and integrated families, how to prevent violence in families, how to work with orphan children, etc. Anna Nyagova will examine already existing supporting measures and programs in family policies at the level of ATU Gagauzia, as well at national level. Main task of Slovak expert – Daniel Gerbery, will be to introduce the Slovak and European Union´s legislative framework in the field of family policy, present possible means of state support in EU countries for socially vulnerable families, and to highlight benefits and possible shortcomings of such family programs and policies.

After the presentation of current state and possible future developments and identification of possible barriers and shortcomings in supporting families, the task of WG members will be to establish an immediate dialogue with Gagauzian local authorities and present proposals based on high level expert discussion.
