First session of the working group “Youth and Sport” will take place on June 13 in Conference-Hall of Comrat State University with the beginning at 10:00. Main aim of the session is to discuss the current situation in Gagauzia in sphere of youth and sport and to look at the Slovak experience and vision in the field, which will be presented by renowned expert from Slovakia.

Working Group will consist of 20 experts in the field from civil society associations, local government bodies, business and others. Together they will discuss most burning issues of this sphere and put forward their assumptions and recommendations to resolve identified problems and improve the situation in general.

For better understanding of the current state in the field of youth and sport in Gagauz region an analysis by local expert Natalia Cojocar will be carried out. She will also co-ordinate the introductory meeting and on the basis of the discussion, determine the further direction of WG. The main task of the foreign expert from Slovakia, Denisa Harčarová, will be to present the experience of the Slovak Republic and other EU countries mostly in the development of work with youth, their interaction with adults and their involvement in the society in general.
