Project writing and management – About Experts

Since 2001 Tomas Findra has been working as a project manager and a trainer for Education Centre for Non-profit Organisations (CVNO) http://www.cvno.sk , which is one of the leading educational institutions in Slovakia actively working in the field of capacity building of NGO sector. CVNO was one of the first institutions in Slovakia which carried out educational activities related to Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Logical Framework Approach (LFA). He has strong professional background and experience in adult education, PCM and LFA.

Tomas has almost 20 years of experience either as a project coordinator, expert and trainer within number of international projects funded by various financial instruments including the European Commission. From 2005 until 2010 he participated in or coordinated several successful projects of CVNO and various partner institutions related to development of NGO and public sector in Serbia, Croatia, Albania and Ukraine.

Tomas has also experience in proposal evaluation of projects funded by the European Commission, for example the Youth in Action Programme, or Hungary-Slovakia- Romania-Ukraine cross bored cooperation programme (HUSKROUA). For more than 10 years his activities have been reaching also beyond NGO and public sector and he also cooperates as a trainer or consultant with privatecompanies. Recently he actively participates in projects and activities related to adult education and training, more specifically validation of competences acquired in informal and non-formal learning.
